Words cannot describe how much I love the men’s Prada Fall/Winter 2012 collection, with Gary Oldman, Willem Defoe, Adrien Brody, Jamie Bell, and Tim Roth as models.
Can anyone identify this mysterious duo? I suppose this may be a silly question to some, but these two keep cropping up in street style blogs as they frequent fashion shows, and I have no idea who they are. But I do like how their style is even better as a pair.
I stumbled across the Orla Kiely summer collection this week, and I was delighted by all of her designs, which, with wonderful colors and patterns, are deeply nostalgic. Though I couldn’t pull off most of these styles (nor afford them), there’s nothing better than mustard yellow skirts, large polka dot blouses, and trim trousers.
Steven Alan’s 2012 resort collection uses wonderfully neutral colors (reminiscent of Comptoir des Cotonniers) with light, free-flowing forms, perfect for a summer coastal day. View the complete collection over on Style.com.
Yes, I know that I’ve posted about my fondness for ties and bowties, but I couldn’t resist sharing these gorgeous ties from Good Heavens. They show a wonderful attention to detail, from a strong color palette to the complimentary pattern or print.

Paul Smith’s line for Fall 2011 pretty much captures how I wish I could dress every day—trousers and ties, button-down shirts with cardigans, all in neutral tones with one exceptional splash of color. Though I’ve professed before my preference for the more masculine cut, according to Vogue, Paul Smith has a “penchant for putting women in men’s clothes…but he makes them look so great—relaxed, laid-back….They’re men’s clothes cut for women but without trying too hard—ever—and it looks like the sexiest possible way not to make an effort.”
