Matthias Heiderich is a photographer who captures Berlin’s colors and patterns unlike any other. The bright colors and graphic patterns seem to represent a distinct era of Berlin public areas—a landscape that I wish Wim Winders would have used in the concluding all-color scenes of Wings of Desire.
